Job summary

Virtusa Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in Dubai to lead complex cross-functional initiatives. You will drive project planning, governance submissions, and executive reporting across business, technology, operations, risk, and finance teams.

The role requires coordination with vendors and external partners, with a focus on delivering on time and within scope. Banking and regulated environments experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of project-management or project-delivery experience with cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience across the full Project Development Life Cycle from concept to closure.
• Experience coordinating business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, security, finance, procurement and vendors.
• Experience preparing project plans, governance submissions, management reports and executive-level presentations.
• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.
• Experience in banking/financial services/technology/consulting or regulated environments is preferred.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Typically 7-10 years of project-management or project-delivery experience, including responsibility for complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience across the full Project Development Life Cycle, from concept and business-case development through implementation and closure.
• Experience coordinating business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, security, finance, procurement, and external vendors.
• Experience preparing project plans, governance submissions, management reports, and executive-level presentations.
• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.
• Experience within banking, financial services, technology, consulting, or another regulated environment is preferred.

Professional Certifications - Preferred

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project-management certification.
• Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent delivery certification.
• Change-management certification would be advantageous.
• ITIL or related service-management knowledge would be beneficial.
