Job summary

People Talento HR Consultancy DWC LLC in the UAE seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive a construction project from planning through handover for a well-established firm.

You will own scheduling, cost control, procurement, QA/QC, safety, and stakeholder management, leading engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on a multi-disciplinary site using BIM tools, FIDIC contracts, and formal reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience managing construction projects end-to-end.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, AutoCAD, and BIM tools.
• Experience with Procore/Aconex document control platforms.
• Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts, procurement, and cost control.
• PMP, NEBOSH, or IOSH certification is an advantage.

On behalf of our client, a well-established construction/engineering firm in the UAE, we're hiring an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of a construction project from planning through handover.

What you'll own — full project lifecycle:

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, manage, and update the master project schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project




• Define scope, sequencing, resource and manpower planning




• Coordinate design, procurement, and construction timelines with all stakeholders

Site & Field Operations

• Full on-site presence — oversee daily site activities, progress, and workforce productivity




• Supervise site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and labor teams




• Resolve on-site issues in real time — you make the call when work needs to stop or change direction

Cost & Commercial Control

• Manage project budget, cost tracking, forecasting, and value engineering input




• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor packages




• Administer contracts (FIDIC or similar forms), review and process change orders, variations, and payment applications




• Negotiate subcontractor and vendor agreements

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce HSE standards and site safety protocols (NEBOSH/IOSH-aligned practices)




• Ensure work complies with UAE building codes and local authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, RTA, ADM, or relevant emirate authority)




• Oversee quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes and ISO-aligned standards




• Manage inspections, snagging, and non-conformance resolution

Digital Tools & Documentation

• Use BIM coordination tools (Revit, Navisworks) where applicable to resolve design clashes




• Manage project documentation and workflow through Procore, Aconex, or similar document control platforms




• Prepare cost/progress dashboards (Power BI or equivalent reporting tools) for leadership




• Maintain RFIs, submittals, and full project records through to closeout

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, consultants, architects, and authorities




• Lead progress meetings and issue regular status, cost, and forecast reports




• Manage client expectations and escalations professionally and proactively

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor Project Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, and HSE personnel




• Foster a safety-first, accountability-driven site culture across a multicultural workforce

Desired Candidate Profile

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline




• 5–10 years of hands-on experience managing construction projects end-to-end, ideally including exposure to large-scale or landmark developments




• Proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM tools (Revit/Navisworks a plus), and MS Office




• Working knowledge of document control platforms (Procore/Aconex) and reporting tools




• Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts, procurement, and cost control principles




• PMP, NEBOSH, or IOSH certification is a strong advantage




• Strong leadership — comfortable directing site teams and subcontractors, confident with clients and authorities




• English fluency required; Hindi or Arabic is a bonus, not a must
