Job summary

Al Amani Human Resources Consultancy seeks an experienced Project Manager - Civil for a reputed UAE high-rise construction company. The candidate will lead mobilization through handover, overseeing design and build with consultants and contractors.

Required are 20+ years of UAE high-rise experience, proficiency in Primavera P6 and BIM, and strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills. Immediate joining preferred and an attractive package offered.

Qualifications

• Requires Civil/Architectural Engineering qualification.
• Over 20 years' experience in high-rise buildings in the UAE.
• Strong background in deep excavation, shoring, dewatering and urban projects.
• Advanced knowledge of high-rise construction methods and BIM usage.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle of high-rise construction projects from mobilization to handover.
• Manage consultants and contractors in design and build.
• Validate plans, budgets, forecast and risks.
• Oversee excavation, dewatering, walls, raft foundations and superstructure works.
• Ensure cost, schedule, safety, quality, tech, security and sustainability objectives are met.
• Control project cost, programme, quality, HSE, resources and productivity.
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and UAE authorities.
• Drive timely completion while maintaining quality and safety.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, variations, value engineering and FIDIC requirements.
• Lead authority approvals, inspections, NOCs and handover requirements.
• Monitor critical path and address risks in construction and procurement teams.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including Construction Managers, MEP, QA/QC, HSE, Planning and Commercial.

Job description

PROJECT MANAGER - CIVIL required urgently for a reputed High Rise Building Construction Company in UAE:

• Civil / Architecture Engineering qualified.
• Over 20 years' proven experience managing above 50 storey high-rise building projects in the UAE.
• Strong experience with 4+ level deep-basement construction, excavation, shoring, dewatering, and complex urban projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of high-rise construction methodologies, including post-tensioned slabs, high-strength concrete, jump-form/slip-form systems, and façade/curtain wall installation.
• Strong understanding of UAE building regulations, authority approvals, HSE requirements, and applicable local standards.
• Proven experience managing large multidisciplinary construction teams and major project budgets.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Practical knowledge of BIM, including 4D/5D BIM applications.
• PMP, CEng, MCIOB, or MRICS certification will be an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong experience working with major developers, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities in the UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of high-rise building construction projects, from mobilization through final handover.
• Responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the projects and directly managing consultants and contractors engaged in the design and build process.
• Validate project plans, budgets, performance status, forecast, trends, risks, and key decisions.
• Oversee complex construction activities including deep excavation, dewatering, shoring, secant/diaphragm walls, raft foundations, and high-rise superstructure works.
• Provide management and oversight of the project by ensuring that all objectives are being achieved including those related to cost, schedule, safety, quality, technology, security, logistics, and sustainability.
• Manage project cost, programme, quality, HSE, resources, productivity, and overall delivery performance.
• Coordinate closely with the Client, Consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant UAE authorities.
• Drive timely completion of the project while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and commercial performance.
• Manage project budgets, cash flow, variations, value engineering, and FIDIC-based contractual requirements in coordination with the Commercial team.
• Lead authority approval processes, inspections, NOCs, and requirements for project completion and handover.
• Monitor the critical path and proactively address construction, procurement, technical, logistical, and schedule-related risks.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Construction Managers, MEP, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and Commercial teams.
