AECOM is seeking an experienced Chief Resident Engineer with a strong background in Bridges & Infrastructure to lead a major Abu Dhabi project. You will oversee the supervision consultant team, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all design, construction, and commissioning phases.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with stakeholders, and provide technical leadership on complex infrastructure challenges while advancing world-class engineering solutions in a dynamic UAE

Qualificações

• Minimum 20 years of professional civil engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or resident engineer / construction manager capacity.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects with budgets exceeding AED 50 million.
• Professional engineering license or equivalent certification in civil/structural engineering.

• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across all project phases, including feasibility studies, detailed design, construction management, and commissioning.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently while maintaining cost-effectiveness and minimizing risks.
• Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and design reviews using industry-standard software and methodologies.
• Develop and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies for complex infrastructure challenges.
• Mentor and supervise a team of resident engineers and technical staff, fostering professional development and maintaining high performance standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards throughout all project activities.
• Analyze site conditions, geotechnical data, and environmental factors to inform engineering decisions.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and project recommendations for senior management and clients.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, sustainable design practices, and industry innovations in bridge and infrastructure engineering

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Resident Engineer, with a background in Bridges & Infrastructure to lead our a large project based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead as the supervision consultant of critical bridge projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will serve as a technical authority and strategic leader, guiding a team of resident engineers and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver world-class infrastructure solutions in the dynamic UAE market.
