Job summary

Enviro Vision Waste Management Services Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to oversee financial statements, month-end close, and statutory reporting in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations. You will manage ledgers, assist audits, and monitor project profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Accounting working experience in UAE.
• Proficient in accounting systems (Oracle, SAP, Quickbooks/ Peach Tree) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger, trial balance, and reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support external and internal audits, ensuring timely completion.
• Monitor and control project costs, revenues, and profitability.
• Review project budgets, variations, and cost allocations.
• Maintain accurate records of project expenses, subcontractor payments, and client billings.
• Analyze project cash flows and report variances against budget.
• Oversee supplier invoices, subcontractor bills, and employee claims for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables and follow-up with clients for outstanding payments.
• Maintain proper aging analysis of payables and receivables.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, timely filing of VAT returns, and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities as required.
• Ensure compliance with company’s financial and internal control policies.
• Monitor bank facilities (LCs, performance bonds, guarantees) and coordinate with banks.
• Manage petty cash, project impress, and employee reimbursements.
