Job summary

Confidential Government Entity in Abu Dhabi seeks a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and development projects. The role involves collaboration with project teams, consultants, and contractors to meet scope, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Open to UAE Nationals, offering exposure to large-scale programs and industry best practices within a government context. 0-3 years of project engineering experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Bachelor's Degree in one of the listed engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, construction, architectural) or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in project engineering, construction, infrastructure, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of infrastructure and development projects.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and deliverables.
• Assist in identifying project risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project updates.
• Review contractor submissions, RFIs, and progress reports.
• Support project governance and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
