Job summary

Plum Jobs is recruiting an experienced Project Engineer for residential refurbishment and structural repair initiatives in the UAE. You will manage projects from planning through delivery, coordinating resources, site teams and subcontractors to meet safety, schedule and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years UAE experience in concrete repair or refurbishment, strong AutoCAD skills, and a valid UAE driving license, with excellent written and spoken English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ UAE project engineering experience managing concrete repair, structural refurbishment or rehabilitation projects, with a mandatory background in residential refurbishment or fit-out projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of concrete repair methodologies, structural strengthening techniques and construction practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD with the ability to prepare and modify technical drawings.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage contractors, stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage concrete repair, structural strengthening and refurbishment projects from planning through to completion, coordinating resources, materials and site teams to achieve project requirements.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation, including preparing and modifying AutoCAD drawings to support project execution.

Our client is a well-established building contractor specializing in refurbishment, rehabilitation and structural repair projects up to AED 10M across the UAE.

We are recruiting an experienced Project Engineer to manage residential refurbishment projects involving concrete repair, structural strengthening and specialist rehabilitation works. The role will be responsible for coordinating project execution, technical requirements and site delivery to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
