PAVICO ALUMINIUM AND METALS LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee steel division projects from award to handover. The role requires coordinating with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery.
The candidate should have 3–5 years of mechanical project engineering experience in manufacturing or construction, and CAD proficiency with SolidWorks or AutoCAD. PE license is preferred.

Manage and oversee steel division projects from award stage through to successful completion and final
handover.
Prepare of drawing and Fabrication drawings, BOQ, specifications, and contractual requirements to ensure proper execution.
Prepare and implement project execution plans, work schedules, manpower deployment plans, and resource al-location.
Ensure timely execution of fabrication, supply, and installation activities in accordance with approved project schedules.
Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
Attend and conduct project coordination meetings and maintain professional communication with all stake-holders.
Resolve technical, operational, and commercial issues arising during project execution.
Maintain proper control of project-related documentation and official correspondence.
Review and monitor shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
Ensure all fabrication and installation activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
Monitor site activities and ensure technical compliance at all stages of work execution.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and material utilization to ensure project profitability.
Evaluate project variations and prepare supporting documentation for variation claims when required.
Coordinate with the accounts department regarding invoice submissions, payment certifications, and collection follow-ups.
Supervise factory fabrication activities and site installation works to ensure productivity and quality compliance.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, tools, and materials.
Ensure site readiness and required approvals prior to commencement of installation activities.
Ensure all works are executed in compliance with approved quality procedures, inspection requirements, and project standards.
Coordinate inspections, MIRs, WIRs, approvals, and related quality documentation.
Ensure timely rectification and closure of NCRs, consultant comments, and site observations.
Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate safety inductions, toolbox talks, permits, and compliance with HSE requirements.
Coordinate with the procurement department for timely sourcing and delivery of project materials.
Verify supplier quotations and ensure material compliance with project specifications.
Lead, supervise, and monitor the performance of engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
Ensure timely completion, testing, commissioning, and handover of projects.
Coordinate final inspections, close-out documentation, and resolution of pending snags or commercial matters prior to project closure.
