JAZAL ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING LLC is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for civil infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves planning and supervising mechanical works, coordinating with civil and electrical teams, and ensuring installation of fire-fighting and utility systems.

You will review drawings and specifications, monitor site progress, coordinate inspections, and support testing, commissioning and handover while adhering to HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Must have experience planning and supervising mechanical works within civil/infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in site supervision, inspections, testing and commissioning.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate and supervise mechanical works for civil/infrastructure projects.
• Manage installation of mechanical systems including fire-fighting, pumps, water supply, sewage and drainage.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals and method statements; coordinate with civil, electrical engineers and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, quality and compliance with drawings and project specs.
• Coordinate inspection, testing, commissioning and handover of mechanical systems.
• Ensure HSE compliance and prepare project documentation and progress reports.

Plan coordinate and supervise mechanical works associated with civil and infrastructure construction projects Manage installation of fire-fighting systems fire pumps water supply networks sewage systems stormwater drainage and associated mechanical equipment Review mechanical drawings technical specifications material submittals and method statements Coordinate with civil engineers electrical engineers consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution Monitor site progress quality and compliance with approved drawings and project specifications Coordinate inspection testing commissioning and handover of mechanical systems Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and applicable engineering standards Prepare progress reports inspection requests and other project documentation Identify technical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure timely project completion

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within civil and infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical installations, piping systems, fire-fighting systems, and utility networks.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in site supervision, quality inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Oil & Gas or ADNOC project experience is an advantage.
