Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking a Technical Manager ICT/ELV/AV to oversee project implementations across ICT, ELV, and AV domains in Dubai. You will prepare technical documents, design system architectures, review drawings, and ensure standards compliance while optimizing resource use.

You will lead engineering activities, attend client meetings, and manage relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Communications, Electricals or Engineering.
• PMP certification.
• 7–10 years of ICT/ELV project implementation experience (structured cabling, ICT, ELV, Security, AV).
• Hands-on experience in installation and commissioning of ICT/ELV/AV systems.
• Technical training/certifications on leading ICT/ELV/AV systems.
• Expert knowledge of ICT/ELV/AV standards, practices, codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of QS & QC processes.
• Good knowledge of networks, installation, testing & commissioning and system integration.
• Basic knowledge in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documents such as submittals and manuals for ELV systems including SCS, security, access control, AV, BGM, GRMS and others.
• Meet with consultants for submittal review and provide clarifications.
• Review drawings prepared by the drafting team prior to consultant submission.
• Identify suitable solutions and products to complete economical designs meeting tender requirements and site conditions.
• Prepare complete detailed technical proposals including design schematic drawings and system architecture.
• Attend client meetings for technical clarifications and presentations.
• Maintain liaison with clients, vendors, and partners.
• Ensure comprehension and application of complex design principles to optimize resources and technology.
• Record and maintain completed project documentation.
• Monitor pre-construction activities and ensure adequate resources are allocated.

• The Technical Manager ICT/ELV/AV is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of project implementations within the ICT, ELV, and AV domains. The role includes preparing technical documentation, designing and planning system architecture, reviewing designs, liaising with consultants, and ensuring compliance with standards and project specifications. The technical manager is pivotal in identifying solutions that optimize resource utilization while meeting commercial objectives. Success in this role requires the ability to work under pressure, maintain strong interpersonal skills, and effectively manage client relationships through technical expertise.

What You Will Do:

Technical Management

• Prepare technical documents such as material submittals, method statements, operation and maintenance manuals, and training manuals for ELV systems including SCS, security systems, access control systems, AV, BGM, GRMS and others.

• Meet with consultants for submittal review and provide technical clarifications.

• Review drawings prepared by the drafting team prior to consultant submission.

• Identify the most suitable solutions and products to complete economical designs that meet tender requirements and site conditions.

• Prepare complete detailed technical proposals including design schematic drawings, system architecture, and compliance documentation.

• Attend client meetings for technical clarifications and presentations.

• Maintain strong liaison and negotiation skills with clients, vendors, and partners.

Engineering

• Monitor and ensure pre-construction project activities, such as material submittals and drawings, are executed according to the project plan.

• Ensure adequate resources are assigned to the project in coordination with the project head.

• Ensure engineering and design comply with local authorities and specialist manufacturer's recommendations.

• Apply technical knowledge to ensure project implementation quality and standards.

• Deliver projects on time with minimal supervision.

• Exhibit commercial awareness during project execution.

• Elaborate and update project planning data concerning effort, costs versus budget, time schedules, and personnel deployment planning.
