Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a project engineer to assist in the technical aspects of a portfolio of projects across the Development Business Unit and support Senior/Project Managers by reporting progress.

The ideal candidate is a graduate in engineering with an architecture background and 2–4 years of experience, capable of coordinating design and construction stages and liaising with consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Technical input, progress monitoring, design coordination.
• Effective communication, time management, leadership, commercial awareness, ethical decision-making, customer focus, results-driven mindset, adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Support the Delivery Team in preparing project status updates.
• Schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned tasks.
• Interact daily with consultants and contractors to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
• Prepare overall progress reports for the project.
• Collaborate effectively with the Senior Project Manager and project participants to provide technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in developing strategies for successful project delivery, focusing on design, construction, and maintenance.
• Monitor project aspects including time, quality, safety, and sustainability, while minimizing delays.
