Job summary

Client of Michael Page seeks a Project Director to lead the delivery of large-scale residential communities and horizontal infrastructure in the GCC. You will oversee planning, design, procurement and execution of roads, utilities, power and enabling works while managing consultants, contractors and delivery partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience delivering large-scale master-planned communities or major infrastructure projects in the GCC or comparable markets.
• Background with leading developers, PMCs, or client-side organisations.
• Experience managing horizontal infrastructure packages: roads, utilities, power networks, enabling works.
• Strong stakeholder management governance and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of horizontal large-scale residential communities.

• Develop and implement project delivery strategies aligned with development goals.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and coordinate with internal departments, authorities and external partners.
• Monitor progress, risks, change management and commercial performance across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations governance and development standards.
• Lead value engineering and risk management initiatives to optimize outcomes.
• Provide strategic leadership to project teams and mentor direct reports.
• Deliver regular reporting and recommendations to senior management on status, challenges and mitigation.

• Strong background working for leading developers, project management consultancies (PMCs), or client-side organizations.
• Demonstrated expertise managing horizontal infrastructure packages, including roads, utilities, power networks, and enabling works.
• Commercially astute leader with excellent stakeholder management, project governance, and team leadership capabilities.
