Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Project Coordination Engineer - Emirati to support the CS team in managing day-to-day project coordination for infrastructure works. The role focuses on coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, reviewing drawings, and maintaining logs and reports.

You will attend coordination meetings, help ensure shop drawings and submittals meet requirements, gather site data, and assist Resident Engineer with road and infrastructure construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering.
• Fresh graduates with internship experience.
• Basic understanding of construction and engineering drawings.
• Good English communication and organizational skills.
• Must be available in UAE.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
• Review drawings/models to identify clashes and issues.
• Prepare and update coordination drawings, logs, and reports.
• Attend coordination meetings, record minutes, and follow up on actions.
• Support review of shop drawings and material submittals for compliance.
• Coordinate with site teams to gather technical data and as-built information.
• Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in coordianting the construction of roads and infrastructure works and associated items.
• Coordinate with Parsons' design engineers for resolution of related issues.
• Maintain the daily diary and the daily reports by the inspectors.
• Coordinate with the contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources.
• Convene and chair special meetings with the service authorities, the contractor, subcontractors and other parties related to his work.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
• Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.
• Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer and the project safety representatives.
