Job summary

TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING S.A DUBAI BRANCH is seeking an experienced project controls professional to support overall project management, programme management, and governance on government projects in Dubai.

You will establish and maintain robust project controls, including cost and schedule control, progress measurement, risk registers, and change management in coordination with the Planning Engineer and Quantity Surveyor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, project management, or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in project management, including a strong project controls background.
• Demonstrated programme management experience, or experience within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) supporting governmental clients.

Responsibilities

• Support in overall project management, project controls, and programme management.
• Establish and maintain project controls systems, including cost control, schedule control, progress measurement, risk registers, and change management, with the Planning Engineer and Quantity Surveyor.
• Monitor the Contractor's programme, resources, and progress against baselines; support progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations for Dubai Municipality.
• Coordinate with DM, RTA, DEWA, Dubai Airports, DAEP and other stakeholders; support governance and reporting arrangements typical of PMC-supervised government projects.
• Support contract administration, including tracking submissions, instructions, correspondence, variations, and claims; assist the Resident Engineer with documentation and action trackers.
• Support risk and issue management, escalation processes, and implementation of corrective actions across the project team.
• Demonstrated programme management experience or PMC support experience for governmental clients.
