Job summary

CG Resourcing Ltd client seeks an experienced Project Controls Engineer based in Abu Dhabi for a major oil and gas EPC pipeline project. You will draft controls procedures, generate reports, and manage deliverables, procurement, and subcontract registers.

The role covers coordinating engineering deliverables, materials reconciliation, and subcontract administration to support project performance and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Experience as project controls engineer on major EPC oil and gas construction projects in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Drafts project-specific Project Controls Procedures as per contract requirements.
• Participates in preparing Project internal and external reports in the required format.
• Initiates, coordinates and maintains Project List(s) of Deliverables including those for project procedures and plans, engineering, procurement, material submittals, method statements etc.
• Puts together procurement packages including quantities take-off, contract specifications and technical requirements, delivery schedule etc.
• Initiates and maintains Procurement Status Register.
• Prepares and maintains Subcontractors Register.
• Assists in drafting subcontract agreements and negotiating subcontract prices.
• Assists in subcontracts administration and related correspondences, measurements, payment certification, closing final account etc.
• Coordinates and maintains Engineering Deliverables Status Register.
• Prepares a List of Project Materials along with the required quantities and maintains a continuous project materials reconciliation.

My client is a leading EPC contractor with an excellent reputation a track record of working on major oil and gas projects in the middle east region. They are currently working on a major pipeline construction project and are looking to recruit an experienced project controls engineer to be based a Jebel Dhana, Abu Dhabi. The role will involve the following;

• Drafts project-specific Project Controls Procedures as per contract requirements.
