Job summary

Archirodon in the UAE is seeking four (4) experienced Project Controls Engineers to join a top qualified team on recently awarded Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. Join a dynamic EPC leader with global presence, contributing to cost control, scheduling, reporting and change management while supporting ADNOC-grade project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will draft procedures, maintain registers and collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering.
• 5 years relevant experience in construction industry at similar level.
• Experience in EPC Projects with ADNOC (or equivalent) is essential.
• Ability to perform under stressful situations.
• Cost estimation, cost control, planning, risk management and contractual knowledge.
• Engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning awareness.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Knowledge of project management tools.
• Knowledge of basic financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Drafts project-specific Project Controls Procedures as per contract requirements.
• Prepares internal and external reports in the required format.
• Initiates, coordinates and maintains Project Lists of Deliverables and related documents.
• Puts together procurement packages including quantities take-off, contract specs and schedules.
• Initiates and maintains Procurement Status Register.
• Prepares and maintains Subcontractors Register.
• Assists in drafting subcontract agreements and negotiating subcontract prices.
• Assists in subcontracts administration and related correspondences, measurements, payment certification, closing final account etc.
• Coordinates and maintains Engineering Deliverables Status Register.
• Prepares a List of Project Materials with quantities and reconciliations.
• Maintains project records, diaries, and productivity data.
• Monitors the Contract Scope of Work and any Variations thereto.
• Prepares and maintains Variations and Claims Registers.
• Collects, maintains and groups records for Variations and Claims substantiation.
• Prepares Variation and Claim submissions.
• Collaborates with quantity surveyors for monthly payment requests.
• Assists in preparing budget and current estimates and monitor variances.
• Participates in establishing project cost centers and allocates costs accordingly.
