Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is seeking a Project Control Manager for our solar projects in the UAE. Based at the project site, you will establish and lead the project control plan, develop schedules, and coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure on-time delivery.

You will drive risk management, prepare delay analyses, and manage client communications. A senior candidate with 15+ years of experience in solar projects is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 15+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years in solar projects of similar capacity.
• Age 35-50.

Responsibilities

• Establish project control plan, procedures and execution plan.
• Identify and develop project control team and templates.
• Develop schedules (L2-L4) and engineering/procurement/construction registers.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Develop KPI templates and monitor progress.
• Lead project risk management, reviews and mitigations.
• Prepare delay analysis and time impact analysis as needed.
• Single point of contact with client for project control matters.
• Identify critical paths and escalate for timely actions.
• Prepare presentations for management and attend progress meetings.
• Monitor subcontractor mobilization and progress against plan.

Project Control Manager

Department - Project Control

Based at Project Site

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Establish project control plan & Procedures and Project Execution Plan for the projects
• Identify and develop project control team to manage the required tasks
• Develop L2, L3, L4 schedules & other project control related templates in line with the contractual requirements.
• Develop Engineering, Procurement & Construction Registers
• Coordination & necessary follow ups with Engineering, procurement & Construction team for various project affairs
• Develop KPI templates and guide the team for regular updating
• Take lead in Project Risk Management plan, periodic reviews and mitigation plans
• Prepare delay analysis, time impact analysis, EOT as needed during the project tenure
• Single point coordination with client for all project control affairs
• Identify critical path/critical activities and escalated for timely actions
• Prepare presentations to various management meetings
• Participate in all internal/client/vendor progress meetings
• Ensure all client reports are submitted on timely manner
• Monitor subcontractor mobilization and performance to ensure the planned progress of works
• Monitoring and analyzing the project progress, efficiency, consumption of mobilized resources.

• Lead project control for large scale projects
• Knowledge of power point & Excel
