Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks a senior professional to lead all project controls for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects. You will drive planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, change management and project reporting to ensure on-time delivery within budget and contractual requirements.

The role requires deep knowledge of project management principles, budget oversight, risk analysis, and the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional

Qualifications

• Experience leading project controls for large-scale energy projects.
• Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, cost control and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Establish project control plan and procedures and Project Execution Plan for the projects.
• Identify and develop project control team to manage required tasks.
• Develop L2-L4 schedules and other project control templates in line with contractual requirements.
• Develop Engineering, Procurement & Construction Registers.
• Coordinate with EPC team for project affairs and follow-ups.
• Develop KPI templates and guide the team for regular updates.
• Lead Project Risk Management plan, periodic reviews and mitigations.
• Prepare delay analyses, time impact analyses and EOT as needed.
• Conduct critical path analyses and mitigation/recovery plans.
• Serve as single point of coordination with client for project control affairs.
• Identify critical path activities and escalate for timely actions.
• Prepare presentations for management meetings and client/vendor progress meetings.
• Ensure client reports are submitted on time.
• Monitor subcontractor mobilization and progress to ensure planned works.

To lead all project controls functions including planning scheduling cost control progress measurement risk management change management and project reporting for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects The role is responsible for providing accurate project visibility and ensuring projects are delivered within approved schedule budget and contractual requirements The role requires a strong understanding of project management principles budget management risk analysis and the ability to lead and motivate teams

Key Responsibilities

• Establish project control plan amp Procedures and Project Execution Plan for the projects
• Identify and develop project control team to manage the required tasks
• Develop L2 L3 L4 schedules amp other project control related templates in line with the contractual requirements
• Develop Engineering Procurement amp Construction Registers
• Coordination amp necessary follow ups with Engineering procurement amp Construction team for various project affairs
• Develop KPI templates and guide the team for regular updating
• Take lead in Project Risk Management plan periodic reviews and mitigation plans
• Prepare delay analysis time impact analysis EOT as needed during the project tenure
• Conduct critical path analysis and develop mitigation and recovery plans
• Single point coordination with client for all project control affairs
• Identify critical path critical activities and escal for timely actions
• Prepare presentations to various management meetings
• Participate in all internal client vendor progress meetings
• Ensure all client reports are submitted on timely manner
• Monitor subcontractor mobilization and performance to ensure the planned progress of works
