Job summary

Client of Blue Hat HR Services LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage project accounting, GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations. You will apply the Percentage of Completion (POC) method and ensure accurate revenue recognition, unbilled revenue, accruals, and cost tracking across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Mandatory).
• Min 5 years total accounting experience.
• Min 3+ years in rental equipment or construction or contracting industry.
• UAE/GCC experience is required.
• Must speak Egyptian or Sudanese Arabic; Arabic language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations for project accounts.
• Perform monthly close and prepare financial reports.
• Apply POC method and distinguish from invoicing.
• Handle unbilled revenue, accruals, and project cost tracking.
• Coordinate VAT filing and audits and maintain audit-ready records.
