Job summary

Steel Square Glass & Aluminium l.l.c is seeking a capable Workshop Supervisor in Dubai to oversee daily fabrication and installation activities. You will read technical drawings, allocate tasks, and supervise fabricators, welders and helpers to ensure on-time delivery with quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has an ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2–3 years of supervisory experience in SS/MS fabrication, welding and installation.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of SS/MS fabrication, welding and installation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manage workshop teams.
• Good planning, problem-solving and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop fabrication and site installation activities.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Allocate work and monitor the performance of fabricators, welders and helpers.
• Coordinate cutting, CNC laser cutting, bending, welding, assembly and finishing.
• Inspect product dimensions, quality and workmanship.
• Monitor job progress, material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate installation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and report progress to management.
