Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a Production Operator Extruder Shift in charge to oversee shop floor operations, supervise extrusion processes, and ensure product quality and safety across all production levels.

You will coordinate with maintenance, warehouse and QA, lead operators and helpers, manage shift tasks, and report performance while upholding 5S, ISO 9001 QMS, and GMP standards. The role requires adaptability and strong problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma or Technical Education in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Polymer Science or related field.
• Experience in plastic polymer masterbatch extrusion or related industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shop floor management and run production operations workflow from raw materials to finished products.
• Supervise production operators and helpers during shifts; allocate manpower and tasks.
• Ensure targets are met safely, efficiently and with quality; monitor reports and KPIs.

Job Summary

Ensures efficient plant operation and adherence to manufacturing objectives and production qualitystandards through direct supervision and synchronization of production processes resourcesmanagement and allocation coordination with other departments and key plant personnel andaccurate reporting of results and documentation Guarantees product quality at all levels of productionthrough materials inspection coordination with key production and warehouse personnel andaccurate documentation of results

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinates and directly carry out shop floor management run the production operations workflow from raw materials goods in process and finished products to ensure quality at all levelsof production Coordinates monitors and supervises production processes and activities such aspre-blending operations raw materials feeding packaging and final product issuance Shift ManagementLead and supervise production operators and 3rd party - helpers during the shift Allocate manpower and assign production tasks Conduct shift handover and communicate production status issues and priorities Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently Monitors and ensure compliance with product quality SHE standards and job order schedules Reviews and validates daily production-related reports Carries out and implements pre-determinedproduction activities in accordance with Global and regional manufacturing objectives Prepare SOP s WI s JSA and other documents in accordance with ISO 9001 QMS requirements Review and update as and when required or when changes are made Coordinates with Maintenance Department on matters pertaining to equipment machineriesdisorders maintenance and calibration internal and external Coordinates with Warehouse Department for raw materials and finished products movements Coordinates with Laboratory Department on all AC QA results and trends Coordinates with Maintenance ensuring full optimum utilization of machineries and equipment andrepairs and maintenance schedules Participates in daily production meetings with key production personnel and othersAttends to and reports immediate manpower-related concerns to Management Periodically work along with Plant Ops Manager for reviews and appraises performance ofProduction personnel and makes recommendations pertaining to skills enhancement and careeradvancement Maintains 5S housekeeping standards in the shop floor and act as the change agent across thecompanyPerforms other related tasks as mandated by the Immediate Supervisor and Top Management Always ready to go for career enhancement programs and certifications as required by company

Experience

Working in a masterbatch manufacturing environment should be capable of:

Safely lifting and carrying raw material bags, samples, and finished productcontainers (typically 5-25 kg).Moving equipment, RM bags, and packaging materials as required.Performing repetitive manual tasks such as sample collection, weighing, mixing, andtesting.Standing and walking for extended periods during inspections and productionmonitoring.Using proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.Operating pallet jacks, trolleys, or other material handling equipment whenauthorized.Handling additives, and polymer samples safely while following PPE requirements.Loading and unloading test materials for extruders, mixers , and auxiliary equipment.Maintaining good housekeeping practices to minimize manual handling risks andworkplace hazards.Complying with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures andmanual handling guidelines.
