Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Production Manager in the United Arab Emirates to lead daily perfume production activities across EDP/EDT, attars, roll-ons, deodorants, cosmetics, bakhoor, and oud muattars.

The role requires at least 8+ years in perfume manufacturing with strong QA, warehouse, and engineering exposure. You will drive cost-effective production, ensure batch traceability, and mentor the production, QC, maintenance, and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in perfumes manufacturing is mandatory.
• Strong experience in QA, Warehouse and Engineering functions preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily perfume production activities.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven ‘Production Manager’ with a minimum of 8+ years within the perfume industry. Must be familiar with the production processes for EDP/EDT Perfumes, CPO attars, Roll-ons, Deodorants, Cosmetics, Bakhoor, and Oud muattars.

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily perfume production activities.

• Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned timelines and resources.

• Plan, organize, and supervise quality control activities for incoming raw materials, packaging materials, bulk products, and finished products.

• Coordinate with R&D, Warehouse, Procurement, and Sales/Planning teams to ensure smooth production flow.

• Monitor and control raw material and packaging inventory, coordinating with the procurement to prevent any shortages or excess stocks.

• Ensure correct implementation of batch sheets, formulas, production orders, and SOPs.

• Monitor raw material and packaging material consumption and minimize wastage.

• Ensure complete batch traceability and documentation from raw material receipt through production, QC inspection, filling, packing, and finished product release.

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to improve productivity.

• Ensure machines, equipment, and production areas are properly maintained and hygienic.

• Lead train and develop the production, QC, Maintenance & Warehouse teams.

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, GMP, hygiene, and company procedures across Production and QC activities.

• To provide production inputs for product Costing

• Monitor manpower requirements, attendance, productivity, and discipline.

• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly production reports.

• Support implementation and effective use of ERP for production-related activities.

• Ability to identify production and quality issues and implement practical, corrective and preventive measures.

• Continuously improve manufacturing process, exploring automation, layout changes or SOP update to boost efficiency.

• Engineering, Maintenance & Automation: Manage the Engineering/Maintenance team and oversee machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, automation, and process improvements and reduce downtime.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in perfumes manufacturing is mandatory with strong experience in Quality Control, Warehouse & Engineering functions will be preferred.

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo will be an advantage.
