Responsibilities

• Attend production meetings with department teams (steel, paint, carpentry, electrical) alongside the Project Manager.
• Act as main contact for fabrication team: answer questions, schedule work, confirm installations, ensure quality output.
• Coordinate production workflow with operations and site teams and link fabrication activities across departments.
• Review scope of work with team to identify delays and take action to keep build schedules.
• Monitor progress and finish quality; communicate delays to Fabrication Division Manager.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, drawings, materials, scheduling, mockups, and quality checks.

Job description

The Production Coordinatorwill perform the task as a link between projects managers andfabricationdivision and other various departments within the organization.

The ProductionCoordinator,coordinates& distributesneeded informationpertaining tothe jobs assigned to him with all departments to produce and deliver the job.

Follow up closely with production and ensure that production schedules and client guidelinespertaining tofinishing are followed to meet deadlines.

Maintain records on the Job,createsthe internal budgetfileandensuresthat team follows the budget of the job.

Main Accountabilities

Attending production meetings with department team members of steel, paint, carpentry, and electricalsalong with the Project Manager.

Will be the main point of contact for the fabrication team for answering questions, scheduling work, confirming installations, item Finishes, providing pre-installation and post installation information, and assuring quality output from the factory.

Workswith Operation Managers of the fabrication departments, productionteamand site team,to coordinateproductionworkflow, prioritize production and inter link the fabrication activities of different departments.

Reviewing the scope of work with the team to Investigatepossible delaysand take or recommendappropriate actionsto ensure build up schedules is respected.

Schedule a meeting with the department supervisors todetermineprogress of work and to provide information on changes received from project managers or other departments.

Monitoring the progress of work and finishing quality is followed by the team.

Coordinate and follow up with the suppliers for quotations, follow up on drawings, production methods, raw materials usage, production schedule,mockupand quality checking of the goods during the fabrication stage.

Ensure that production has the right information. - latest drawings, color codes, siteinstallationsdetails, including build-up schedules, entry permits, work permits etc.

Review daily the fabrication schedule and communicatepossible delaysor disruptions to the Fabrication Division Manager.

Responsible for managing the budget of the assigned project, track, monitor, reportvariationsanddocumentthe budget.

Coordinating with supervisor and team leader for any requirements on site transport, water,machineryand plants etc.

Keep up to date records of the jobs in the designated folders,creatingJob internal estimation and Reality file and ensuring all departments follow by recording the data, after the job is delivered sharing the data with the PM / AM of the job.

Maintain and update the production libraries with new techniques and new products (accessories and fabrication methods).
