Job summary

Norton Blake Limited is seeking a senior Product Owner to lead Cash, Liquidity Management and Client Onboarding initiatives for tier‑one corporate banking clients. This is a 6‑month contract with the potential to extend, and requires onsite work in Dubai 5 days a week.

You will bridge business strategy and technology delivery, define the product vision and roadmaps, manage TOM alignment, and oversee vendor integration to deliver a transformed client experience across complex digital programs.

Qualifications

• Senior Product Owner with corporate banking domain knowledge, especially cash management, liquidity, and client onboarding.
• Experience at Senior Manager or Director level in a consultancy, systems integrator, or agile transformation team.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor integration experience in large-scale programs.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Cash, Liquidity Management and Onboarding domains.
• Align requirements with Target Operating Model and digital transformation goals; ensure traceability and governance.

About the Client & The Role: Our client is a global leader in driving digital transformation for some of the world's most prominent financial institutions. We are seeking a senior Product Owner (Operating at Senior Manager or Director level) to spearhead complex, large-scale digital initiatives focused on Corporate Banking - specifically across Cash & Liquidity Management and Client Onboarding.

In this senior consulting capacity, you will act as the ultimate domain expert and product visionary. You will sit at the intersection of business strategy, technology delivery, and vendor integration, ensuring that target operating model (TOM) objectives are met and that the end-client experience is radically transformed.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Product & Domain Leadership:

• Vision & Roadmap: Define, own, and drive the product vision, strategic roadmap, and feature prioritisation for the Cash, Liquidity, and Onboarding domains.
• Target Operating Model (TOM): Ensure all business requirements, customer journeys, and technical solutions seamlessly align with the client's broader TOM and digital transformation goals.
• Consultancy & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior banking stakeholders, guiding them through complex product decisions, scope management, and functional sign-offs.
• Vendor Orchestration: Act as the primary bridge between the bank's business stakeholders, internal engineering/design teams, and core technology vendor teams.
• Lifecycle Partnership: Work in tight collaboration with third-party product teams through the entire delivery lifecycle - from initial discovery and architectural design to build, testing, and production rollout.

Agile Delivery & Requirements Management:

• Requirements Deep-Dive: Elicit, define, and rigorously validate complex business requirements, translating them into clear user stories, business rules, and strict acceptance criteria.
• Traceability & Governance: Manage end-to-end requirement traceability, ensuring every technical output directly serves the overarching business goals and commercial metrics.
• Testing & Rollout: Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, orchestrating planning, execution, defect triage, and final business sign-off.

Process Engineering & Service Design:

• Journey Mapping: Lead the design and optimisation of overarching business processes and intuitive, frictionless customer journeys.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Drive objective, data-backed decisions relating to process improvements, product configuration options, and overall commercial outcomes.

What We Are Looking For:

• Domain Expertise: Deep foundational knowledge of Corporate/Commercial Banking, specifically within Cash Management, Liquidity, and Client Onboarding workflows.
• Consulting Pedigree: Proven experience working at a Senior Manager or Director level within a top-tier consultancy, systems integrator, or a highly agile internal transformation team.
• Vendor Experience: Strong track record of integrating and configuring off-the-shelf core banking/fintech vendor solutions into legacy banking ecosystems.
• Agile Champion: Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments, with a mastery of backlog management and writing highly technical user stories.
• Stakeholder Mastery: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across global, cross-functional teams.
