• Maintain requirements traceability from goals through configuration and testing.
• Drive decisions on product configuration, processes, scope and priorities.
• Support UAT planning, execution and business sign-off for delivered capabilities.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology and vendor delivery teams.

Product Owner - Cash, Liquidity Management & Client Onboarding

Location: Dubai – onsite

Contract: 6 months initially, with a view to extend

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the Cash Management, Liquidity Management and Client Onboarding workstreams within a banking transformation programme.

You will provide business and product ownership across these domains, ensuring that requirements, customer journeys and vendor solutions align with the bank's target operating model and business objectives. The role requires strong banking domain knowledge, confident stakeholder management and hand-on experience translating business needs into deliverable product capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product vision, roadmap, requirements and prioritised backlog across the assigned workstreams.
• Partner with Intellect product teams throughout discovery, design, build, testing and rollout.
• Define and validate business requirements, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.
• Lead business process and customer journey design, ensuring alignment with target operating model objectives.
• Maintain requirements traceability from business goals through configuration, implementation and testing.
• Drive decisions on product configuration, business processes, scope and priorities, balancing business value and delivery dependencies.
• Support UAT planning, execution and business sign-off, ensuring delivered capabilities meet agreed requirements.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and vendor delivery teams.
• Manage requirement queries, resolve functional gaps and secure timely decisions and approvals.
• Ensure delivered solutions support the intended business outcomes and customer experience.

Required skills and experience

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst or Business Product Lead within banking transformation, with clear ownership of product priorities and functional decisions.
• Strong domain expertise across Cash Management, Liquidity Management and Client Onboarding.
• Experience translating complex banking requirements into product roadmaps, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.
• Strong capability in process design, customer journey mapping and target operating model alignment.
• Experience working closely with banking software vendors through discovery, implementation, testing and rollout.
• Hands-on experience supporting UAT, requirements traceability and functional sign-offs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge requirements, resolve competing priorities and engage senior business leaders.
• Ability to operate at Senior Manager / Director level while remaining closely involved in delivery.
• Experience with Intellect banking products or implementations.
• Exposure to corporate or transaction banking transformation.
• Experience delivering programmes spanning multiple interconnected banking workstreams.
