Xpand Group in Dubai is seeking a hands-on Product Manager with strong trading, capital markets, fintech, or digital asset experience to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a next-generation trading product in Dubai.

This individual contributor role sits at the intersection of product, technology, trading, and regulation, collaborating with engineering, compliance, design, sales, and senior leadership to turn market requirements into resilient, institutional-grade trading products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in fintech, trading, or capital markets.
• Experience owning trading or market-infrastructure products end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures and cloud-native platforms.
• Ability to write detailed product requirements and work with engineering teams.
• Experience in regulated financial environments (SEC/FINRA or equivalent).

Job description

My client is looking for a hands-on Product Manager with strong trading, capital markets, fintech, or digital asset experience to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a next-generation trading product in Dubai.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who can operate at the intersection of product, technology, trading, and regulation. You will work directly with engineering, compliance, design, sales, and senior leadership to turn market requirements into resilient, institutional-grade trading products.

What They're Looking For:

• 5+ years of Product Management experience within fintech, crypto, trading, exchanges, or capital markets.
• Proven experience owning trading, exchange, brokerage, or market-infrastructure products end-to-end.
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, scalable systems, and cloud-native platforms.
• Ability to write detailed product requirements, specifications, and technical documentation and work closely with engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of order entry, execution, liquidity, market structure, execution quality, and trading workflows.
• Experience working within a regulated financial environment, with exposure to frameworks such as SEC/FINRA or equivalent international regulation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge Technology, Compliance, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
• A genuinely hands-on approach to product management - someone who can own discovery, prioritisation, delivery, launch, and post-launch optimisation.
• Demonstrable experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to improve product development, analysis, documentation, and workflows.

Ideal Background

• The strongest candidates will come from trading platforms, exchanges, brokerages, capital markets, digital assets, or financial market infrastructure.
• Experience with quantitative trading systems, risk engines, matching engines, market data, order management, execution/routing, staking, lending, or yield products would be highly advantageous.
• They are looking for someone who is technically credible, commercially minded, highly autonomous, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment - rather than a traditional PM who relies heavily on separate technical or delivery teams.
