Job summary

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking an experienced Product Manager (UAE Nationals only) to translate strategy into a differentiating product portfolio for Corporate & Investment Banking. You will drive cross-selling and market intelligence to optimize customer acquisition, activation and retention.

The role requires 6+ years in Banking/Financial Services with product management experience, a bachelor’s degree, and CPM certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of banking/FS experience in a product management role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant specialization; CPM or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into a differentiated product portfolio addressing customer needs.
• Propose and implement cross-selling strategies to boost acquisition, activation and retention.
• Build market intelligence through research to inform decision making and portfolio positioning.
• Monitor portfolio quality, risk alignment and market conditions with the bank’s risk framework.
• Lead and develop the team according to ADCB people management policies and goals.
• Organise activities to achieve targets and deliver the business plan within required procedures.
• Implement departmental policies and ensure adherence to service standards for customers and stakeholders.
• Drive change initiatives and projects in line with the bank’s framework and standards.

We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Transaction Banking Trade Product team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include

• Translate the strategy and plans shared by line manager into the product value proposition by developing and managing a differentiating and complex product portfolio which addresses customer needs and captures market opportunities
• Propose and implement strategies that enhance product cross-selling opportunities in order to increase customer acquisition, activation and retention
• Build market intelligence, conduct research and gather information using multiple sources to monitor market sizing, competitive landscape, customer segmentation and market opportunities in order to provide accurate and reliable info/data that enables decision-making
• Review, monitor and control a complex product portfolio to ensure portfolio quality, portfolio composition, risk recognition, accounts strategy and industry intelligence are aligned with the Bank’s risk strategy and market conditions
• Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
• Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
• Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
• Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank’s standards
• Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

• At least 6 years of experience in Banking/Financial Services with experience in a Product Management role
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant specialisation
• Certified Product Manager (CPM) or equivalent
