Huda Beauty is hiring a Product Development Manager for its Fragrance department in Dubai. The full-time manager develops fragrance products and reports to the Senior Director of Product Development while working in tandem with the Founder. The work spans supplier research, scent and texture evaluation, product briefs, and end-to-end new product development.
Four to six years of beauty-industry fragrance-development experience is required. The manager researches ingredients, claims, competitors, scents, technologies, and textures before proposing fragrance and ancillary concepts. Huda Kattan launched Huda Beauty in 2013, and the company operates with a focus on products, content, community, kindness, and business excellence. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint support the documentation and communication work.
The Huda Beauty manager researches new ingredients, claims, competing products, scents, technologies, and textures before developing product concepts. Supplier submissions receive structured evaluation, and the manager prepares product briefs that translate creative direction into development work.
New products move through scent and texture changes, lab standards, dispatch standards, and approval meetings. The manager also evaluates samples and presents findings to the wider product team. The position requires a strong feel for scent and texture alongside organized written and verbal communication.
The manager directs supplier scent and texture changes and builds relationships with fragrance and product-development partners. Daily supplier follow-up emails or calls keep open questions moving while the manager tracks risks across several projects.
Cross-functional work connects the Product Development department with Product Development Operations, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Regulatory, Packaging, Design, and New Product Development teams. The fragrance professionals involved in those functions contribute different evidence before a product reaches launch.
The manager establishes product claims, supplies artwork information, records INCI details, gathers claim results, and coordinates translations. Packaging and design work depends on accurate technical information moving between product development and the teams preparing the finished product.
Fragrance work also depends on ingredient-use controls. The IFRA Standards library organizes scientifically developed records as restrictions, specifications, prohibitions, and amendments. Formula and packaging decisions must keep technical records aligned with the applicable requirements.
United States cosmetic work adds labeling duties. The FDA labeling guide states that cosmetic ingredients generally appear in descending order of predominance, with fragrance and trade-secret ingredients treated as exceptions. Regulatory knowledge therefore supports the manager's formula, claim, artwork, and translation responsibilities.
Weekly Founder product-testing, alignment, and approval meetings give the manager a fixed review point for fragrance and texture decisions. The manager approves lab standards and dispatch standards after those product discussions and supplier evaluations.
Supplier meetings, formula approvals, and trend research require travel. In Dubai, Dubai fragrance roles can involve both office-based coordination and external partner work, while Huda Beauty's manager handles multiple projects that change quickly.
Huda Beauty describes its workplace as an inclusive team environment that is free from discrimination. The company's stated purpose joins product work with content, community, kindness, and business excellence, giving the Product Development department a broader consumer and brand context.
Employee programs include monthly Self Love Days, medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents, monthly in-house Success Coach sessions, product discounts, and quarterly product gifting. These programs sit alongside the technical work of developing, testing, documenting, and launching fragrance products.
The manager's first months require close contact with the Senior Director of Product Development, the Founder, suppliers, and partner departments. The work therefore starts with fragrance knowledge and expands into claims, packaging information, risk control, approvals, and supplier coordination.
Huda Beauty's fragrance department connects product research with the decisions that move a scent from an early concept to an approved product. The combination of scent judgment, documentation, and project control defines the day-to-day scope of the position.
