Fujairah Confidential is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to strategize cost-effective purchasing and supplier relations in the UAE. You will lead negotiations, manage contracts, and ensure delivery of goods and services while optimizing the procurement budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency with SAP or similar SCM tools. Civil and MEP project experience is preferred.

Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people. Reporting directly to Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Approving purchase orders and organising and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Overseeing and managing the systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of materials.
• Preparing procurement reports.

An experienced Procurement Manager in the construction field for both Civil and MEP.

• Good knowledge of using supply chain management software and tools (SAP, Candy Application or similar)
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
