Job summary

Qataryello seeks a senior procurement professional to establish and lead a centralised procurement hub in Dubai for upstream oil and gas operations. The role focuses on Subsurface or Surface / Infrastructure procurement, driving RFQ/RFP processes, and negotiating contracts with global suppliers.

You will coordinate cross-border logistics, develop category strategies, and align procurement with engineering, operations, and finance teams to support regional growth and a robust supplier base.

Qualifications

• 8–17 years of procurement experience in upstream oil & gas or OFSE.
• Deep expertise in Subsurface or Surface / Infrastructure procurement.
• Experience working with OFSE suppliers for Subsurface or EPC contractors for Surface / Infrastructure.
• Strong track record in contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, build-phase environment.

• Lead end-to-end procurement across Subsurface or Surface / Infrastructure categories.
• Manage sourcing processes including RFQs, RFPs, contract negotiation, and execution.
• Build and manage supplier relationships across Africa, UAE, Europe, Asia, and the US.
• Support development of procurement policies, category strategies, and vendor frameworks.
• Oversee purchase order lifecycle and coordinate logistics for cross-border delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to align procurement with business needs.

They are establishing a centralised procurement hub in Dubai to drive sourcing activities, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support regional operations alongside a global vendor base.
