Job summary

RTX in Abu Dhabi is seeking a United Arab Emirates Supply Chain Manager to lead local procurement and delivery assurance for critical production programs. Based in the Raytheon Emirates office, you will manage all local procurement activities and represent the OSC to align with strategic objectives.

You will foster strong supplier relationships, manage risk, and drive on-time delivery while guiding performance improvements across OSC functions in a fast-paced environment within the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred for leadership roles.
• Experience in complex, cross-functional supply chain operations.

Job Summary

The United Arab Emirates Supply Chain Manager is a critical role within the Operations & Supply Chain organization leading and executing local procurement activities. Based in Abu Dhabi UAE this position is responsible for managing all procurement and delivery assurance responsibilities within the Raytheon Emirates office simultaneously managing supply chain activities on behalf of critical production programs. This role includes leadership responsibilities representing the Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) functional organization on behalf of Raytheon Emirates ensuring timely and complaint placement and management of all local procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Represent the OSC organization on behalf of Raytheon Emirates ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and driving supply chain leadership efficiency and effectiveness.

• Supplier Management: Foster strong supplier relationships ensuring timely placement management and delivery assurance of all procurement activities.

• Procurement Operations: Oversee procurement operations within the Raytheon Emirates office ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Program Support: Lead and represent supply chain activities for critical execution programs such as Coyote ensuring seamless integration of procurement and supply chain management activities to support program success.

• Strategic Alignment: Ensure that procurement operations align with strategic objectives driving 100% on time delivery reduction of supplier overdue and improving CORE domain process maturity.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including program management engineering and finance to support programmatic goals and objectives.

• Compliance & Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks implementing strategies to ensure flawless procurement compliance in alignment with standard work.

• Cost Reduction: Drive cost reduction initiatives and support the adoption of CORE methods and tools to enhance operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain management business administration engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Experience: Equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

• Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience managing complex supply chain operations and cross-functional teams.

• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% within the UAE and occasionally to other locations as needed.

• Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
