Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead our UAE procurement operations from Dubai, developing strategies to optimize cost and efficiency across services, plant and materials for major infrastructure projects.

You will manage a team, negotiate contracts, oversee supplier performance, implement policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project needs while mitigating supply risks. Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in SCM or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years procurement experience.
  • Experience in major infrastructure or transportation projects preferred.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement preferably in major infrastructure or transportation projects
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies processes and best practices
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor management
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
  • Strong decision-making abilities and capacity to analyze complex situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and practices
  • Experience in metro or mass transit projects is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint
