Euro Mechanical in Abu Dhabi, a long-standing oil and gas group, seeks a Procurement Lead to head the Services Business Unit and drive end-to-end sourcing of materials, equipment and subcontracted services. You will guide a team of Buyers and Procurement Officers and shape category strategies for high-spend spend areas.

Competenze

• Five+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in oil and gas services.
• Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing.
• Knowledge of oil and gas equipment, materials and industry standards.
• Strong negotiation and supplier performance management skills.
• Experience leading or supervising a procurement team.
• Commitment to ADNOC standards and compliance.

• Lead the full procurement cycle from PR approval through RFQ, evaluation, negotiation, PO placement and order follow-up.
• Develop sourcing strategies for recurring and high-spend categories including PPE, tools, consumables, industrial materials, rental equipment and services.
• Consolidate demand and set up framework agreements, rate contracts and long-term supply arrangements.
• Lead commercial negotiations on price, payment terms, delivery, warranty and lead times focusing on total cost and value.
• Identify and report savings, cost avoidance and supplier consolidation opportunities.
• Act as main procurement contact for Services stakeholders and run regular demand planning reviews.
• Monitor supplier performance, coordinate corrective actions and develop alternative sources.
• Supervise and coach Buyers and Procurement Officers and monitor KPIs.
• Keep procurement records complete, compliant and auditable.

About the job

We are looking for a Procurement Lead to head procurement for our Services Business Unit. You will lead sourcing of materials, consumables, equipment and subcontracted services, and guide a team of Buyers and Procurement Officers.

What you will do

• Lead the full procurement cycle, from approved PR through RFQ, commercial evaluation, negotiation, PO placement and order follow-up
• Develop sourcing strategies for recurring and high-spend categories, including PPE, tools, consumables, industrial materials, rental equipment, maintenance and specialist services
• Consolidate demand and set up framework agreements, rate contracts, blanket POs and long-term supply arrangements
• Lead commercial negotiations on price, payment terms, delivery, warranty and lead time, with a focus on total cost and value
• Identify and report savings, cost avoidance and supplier consolidation opportunities
• Act as the main procurement contact for Services stakeholders and run regular demand planning reviews
• Monitor supplier performance, coordinate corrective actions and develop alternative sources
• Supervise and coach Buyers and Procurement Officers, allocate workload and monitor KPIs
• Keep procurement records complete, compliant and fully auditable

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience within oil and gas services
• Proven experience in category management, strategic sourcing and framework agreement development
• Knowledge of oil and gas equipment, specifications, materials and industry standards
• Strong negotiation, spend analysis and supplier performance management skills
• Experience leading or supervising a procurement team
• A high level of integrity and commitment to compliance with ADNOC standards
