Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Dubai seeks a proactive Procurement Executive to manage interior fit-out procurement, sourcing materials and subcontractors, evaluating quotations and negotiating terms to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

You will coordinate with design and site teams, maintain supplier databases, prepare POs, and monitor deliveries, aiming to align procurement with project schedules and budget while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, Supply Chain or related field.
• 35 years of procurement experience in interior fit-out or construction projects in the UAE.
• Experience working with interior fit-out contractors is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of interior fit-out materials such as joinery, gypsum, glass, flooring, metal finishes and MEP-related items.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and BOQs.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Familiarity with procurement documentation including RFQs, comparative statements and LPOs.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement tracking systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, BOQs and specifications to determine procurement requirements.
• Source and obtain quotations from approved suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and analyze technical and commercial comparisons of quotations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders (LPOs) and subcontract documents in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with project design and site teams to ensure accurate material specifications and timely procurement.
• Monitor and track material deliveries to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Maintain and update supplier database and procurement records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support cost control initiatives by identifying competitive suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports and update tracking systems regularly.
