Job summary

Kemipex in Dubai is seeking a Procurement Executive to lead end-to-end procurement in the chemical sector. You will source vendors, handle RFQs, manage POs, and drive supplier onboarding and negotiations. You will collaborate with sales, logistics and finance, monitor inventory trends, forecast demand, and optimize reorder levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including vendor sourcing, RFQs, quotation analysis, purchase order creation, and order tracking.
• Review and validate purchase requisitions and ensure timely procurement execution.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Handle vendor registration, supplier onboarding, price negotiations, and contract renewals.
• Manage and resolve supplier-related NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and periodic appraisals.
• Collaborate with BDMs on sourcing initiatives and procurement strategies.
• Support demand and supply planning through analysis of inventory levels, forecasts, and market trends.
• Perform quarterly inventory reviews and recommend reorder levels (Min/Max).
• Work with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Business Development teams.
• Focal point for back-to-back order execution (excluding base oil).
• Align procurement activities with business needs to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Maintain procurement records including supplier databases, purchase history, pricing trackers, and performance reports.
• Analyze procurement trends and payment status.
• Support management reporting through dashboards and MOMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including vendor sourcing, RFQs, quotation analysis, purchase order creation, and order tracking.

• Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Business Development teams.
• Serve as the focal point for back-to-back order execution (excluding base oil).
• Align procurement activities with business needs to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Maintain procurement records including supplier databases, purchase history, pricing trackers, and performance reports.
• Analyze procurement trends, supplier performance, and payment status.
• Support management reporting through dashboards, presentations, meeting agendas, and MOMs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, Petrochemicals, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline.

Ideal Candidate should have:

• 1-5 years of experience in procurement within the Chemical, Petrochemical, Lubricants, Specialty Chemicals, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing sectors.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
