Waagner Biro Bridge Services in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation and vendor management across our manufacturing and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of procurement experience, strong ERP/SAP or Oracle skills, English proficiency, and the ability to lead multiple projects while ensuring cost effectiveness and compliance with UAE regulations.

Competenze

8-10 years of professional experience in procurement engineering or related field.
Proven experience in vendor evaluation, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Strong proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
Advanced analytical and data analysis skills, Excel proficiency.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Mansioni

Analyze and evaluate supplier proposals, specifications, and pricing to align with requirements and budget.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors with regular performance reviews and negotiations.
Prepare detailed procurement documentation including purchase orders, contracts, and specifications, ensuring UAE compliance.
Utilize procurement software and ERP systems to manage requisitions, track orders, and maintain records.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to understand material requirements and timelines.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and cost savings.
