Job summary

GLS Landscaping & Contracting seeks a Procurement Engineer with strong construction experience to lead cost estimation, BOQ preparation, supplier sourcing and procurement coordination for landscaping and infrastructure projects.

The role requires a civil engineering or QS background with 2–3 years of procurement experience in construction, preferably in landscaping. UAE experience is preferred, and advanced Excel/BOQ skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction procurement, preferably landscaping/infrastructure.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and BOQs for landscaping and infrastructure works (softscape, hardscape, irrigation, utilities, external works).
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
• Review and analyze tender documents, identify scope gaps, and prepare technical and commercial clarifications.
• Support Procurement in preparing RFQs and bid packages.
• Source, evaluate, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and procurement teams on commercial and technical matters.
• Prepare rate analysis and cost breakdowns.
• Maintain vendor database and ensure compliance with company procurement procedures.
