Job summary

ORIENT IRRIGATION SERVICES (L.L.C) is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage interim payments, payment certificates, and final accounts for landscape and irrigation projects. You will handle valuation, cost control, and procurement strategy while coordinating with design, planning, and subcontractors to maintain financial targets.

The role requires a Civil Engineering/QS degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, including UAE familiarity, with AutoCAD and Primavera

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of related experience, at least 3 years in the UAE in construction/landscaping industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare interim payments for works undertaken and issue payment certificates outlining financial implications.
• Perform value engineering, Bills of Quantities, pricing documents, valuations, and variations.
• Prepare, submit and agree final accounts; monitor measurement and quantification; liaise with design and planning teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports; manage costs and advise on procurement strategy; identify commercial risks.

Leading Landscaping and Irrigation Contractor based in Dubai seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor for immediate start

Job

To have a complete and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the designated Project which includes andis not limited to the contract and the scope of works. To identify and analyze risks at an early stage and recommend necessary course of action. To monitor value and track all PCOs Proposed Change Orders and COs Change Orders in accordance with the companies policies and procedures. To value and assess completed work and organize progress payments. To liaise with the Design Engineering department regarding the scope of work and the Bill of Quantities. To liaise with Planning Engineer as per activity ID and achieve the monthly invoice target value. To monitor all subcontractors work for compliance to their contract. To prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. To attend all designated meetings in house and when requested with the client or nominated representative subcontractors designers and on site. Managing costs on a wide variety of Landscape Projects. Performing risk and value management and cost control. Advising on procurement strategy. Identifying analysing and developing responses to commercial risks. Establishing and operating cost and financial control systems. Providing advice on contractual claims. Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports. Valuing completed work and arranging payments.

Role

• Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) Degree holder from a recognized and accreditedUniversity
• Minimum 6 years of related experience, at least 3 year’s within the UAE in construction / LandscapingIndustry
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Primavera required
• Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred
