Job summary

MENA WATER FZC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to support water and wastewater treatment projects. You will review tender documents, perform process design, and optimize FEED designs for feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

The role requires a BE/B.Tech in mechanical or chemical engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong English communication and coordination skills are essential for multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment.
• Strong knowledge of treatment processes, process design software (BioWin), costing, and tendering.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Review & assess client tender documents, project specifications and verification of FEED design & optimization.
• Detailed process design & engineering including simulations, design calculations, process optimization, sizing & selection of equipment for tenders and ongoing projects.
• Preparation of datasheets, equipment specifications, cause & effect diagrams, control philosophy, procedures, HAZOP studies & manuals.
• Prepare & submit quotations & tender documents as per tender requirements.
• Review feasibility of process engineering with respect to deliverables for tenders and ongoing projects.
• Support inter-department teams and monitor new technology for process optimization opportunities.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Review & assess client’s tender documents, project specifications and verification of FEED design & optimization of the same.


• Detailed process design & engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, process optimization, sizing & selection of equipment’s etc. for tenders and ongoing projects.

• Preparation of various engineering deliverables such as datasheets / calculations, equipment specifications, cause & effect diagrams, Control philosophy, various types of procedures, HAZOP studies & reports, operation & maintenance manuals etc. and providing necessary engineering inputs to other disciplines and other departments.


• Prepare & submit quotations & tender documents as per tender requirements.


• Review and assess feasibility of process engineering with respect to engineering deliverables for tenders, ongoing projects.


• Support inter department team in seamless manner. Continually monitor new technology for process optimization opportunities.
