Job summary

ADNOC Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Plant Operator to operate and monitor process facilities in the assigned area. You will follow SOPs, manage chemicals, and maintain safety, quality and environmental standards.

The role requires coordinating with supervisors and adhering to the Facility Response Plan during emergencies. Minimum qualification is a technical diploma or secondary school certificate with about 4 years in plant operations within the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in relevant field or Secondary School Certificate.
• 4 years of experience in Plant Operations within a large industrial plant, in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Awareness of HSE policies, procedures and controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process plant and facilities in the assigned area as per operating procedures.
• Carry out assigned Operational work safely to SOP standards.
• Carry out routine checks on equipment for abnormalities and report defects.
• Adjust and monitor speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates during start-up/shutdown.
• Prepare plant/equipment for maintenance and coordinate with supervisors.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock/consumption and prepare batches.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental policies and regulations.
