Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking personnel to operate and monitor process plants in the designated area, ensuring adherence to SOPs and HSE standards. The role involves routine checks, safe startup/shutdown, maintenance prep, chemical handling, and coordination with supervisors and contractors.

Knowledge of safety and environmental policies is essential, with opportunities to participate in emergency response and KPI reporting as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Operate and monitor process plant according to SOPs and HSE standards.
• Adhere to procedures for safety, quality and environmental controls.
• Provide on-the-job support and follow supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out operational work safely to SOP standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report defects promptly.
• Adjust speeds, temperatures and flow rates for startup/shutdown.
• Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance to ensure proper function.
• Receive chemicals, manage stock and prepare batches per procedures.
• Work safely with related machinery and follow all safety rules.
• Obtain work permits and monitor contractors for safety compliance.
• Support Emergency Response duties as required.
