Job summary

ENERFLEX LTD seeks a seasoned Chemical Engineer to lead process design and simulation for oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will develop design basis, data sheets, PFDs/P&IDs, and size equipment while driving safe, compliant design with vendors and clients.

You will work with design teams to meet project schedules, participate in safety reviews, and ensure deliverables meet international and customer standards. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with design experience for gas and liquids production facilities

Responsibilities

Design and optimize process simulations using Hysys and other tools
Prepare process design basis, PFDs and piping & instrumentation diagrams
Conduct sizing calculations for piping, instruments and heat duty
Prepare data sheets for equipment and major instruments
Coordinate with drafting and manufacturing to meet design intent
Support safety reviews (HAZOP/HAZID/SIL) with clients
Assist with vendor inquiries, bids and selections for process systems
Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery
