Alex Shane is looking for an exceptional private housekeeper to run a private residence in Business Bay, Dubai, to five-star hotel or palace standards. The goal is to make daily life effortless, with a spotless, healthy environment, healthy meals, and a daily routine that runs itself.

You will manage cleaning, laundry, wardrobe care, provisioning, and coordination with external providers. The role requires at least 3 years in a five-star hotel or high-end private household, absolute discretion,

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a room attendant, senior room attendant or housekeeper in a five-star hotel or palace, or in a high-end private household.
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency: the same result, every single day.
• A proactive mindset: you notice what will be needed before anyone asks.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and the ability to cook simple, healthy meals when needed.
• Absolute discretion and confidentiality in the role.

Responsibilities

• Keep the entire residence immaculate and hygienic every day following hotel-grade standards.
• Prepare the home before arrivals with scent, lighting, and ambience.
• Provide an evening turndown service and maintain daily logs of the household.
• Keep kitchen stocked with fresh, healthy food and support meal delivery and simple cooking.
• Manage linen care, wardrobe, and shoe care; oversee deep-cleaning schedules.
• Coordinate external providers for window cleaning and dry cleaning.
• Anticipate tomorrow's needs to keep the principal free from household tasks.

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional private housekeeper to run a private residence in Business Bay, Dubai, to the standard of a five-star hotel or palace.

The goal is simple: make daily life completely effortless, so the principal can focus 100% on their professional life. Everything in the home is organised around that goal: a spotless and healthy environment, healthy food, a daily routine that runs itself, and every detail perfect, down to the folded tip of the toilet paper.

What you will do

• Keep the entire residence immaculate and hygienic every day, following written and photographed room standards and a hotel-grade cleaning method

• Prepare the home before every arrival: airing, temperature, signature scent, lighting and fresh flowers

• Provide an evening turndown service: bed opened, bathroom refreshed, night-time ambience

• Keep the kitchen stocked with fresh, healthy food; receive, check and serve delivered meals; occasionally prepare simple, healthy meals

• Prepare the daily supplement routine precisely and keep supplies topped up

• Have sportswear and gym gear clean and ready for the next day, with a planned rotation

• Care for all linen: washing, ironing, rotation of sets and inspection before every use

• Look after the wardrobe, delicate garments and shoes

• Run the deep-cleaning schedule (weekly, monthly, quarterly)

• Manage stock levels and coordinate external providers such as window cleaning and dry cleaning

• Anticipate needs: handle tomorrow's needs today, so that nothing at home ever requires the principal's attention

• Keep a daily written log and an up-to-date record of the household's preferences

What we are looking for
