Job summary

kaizen resourcing seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineer in Dubai to join an innovative technology business developing autonomous and unmanned platforms for demanding real-world applications. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for mechanical architecture and product development.

You will own architecture from concept to production, lead design, and drive DfM and production readiness while collaborating with systems, electronics, software and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior/principal hands-on mechanical roles.
• Proven CAD skills in SolidWorks or Creo.
• Strong background in UAV/aerospace or robotics.
• Experience with autonomous systems.
• DfM and production readiness experience.
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical architecture from concept to production.
• Lead hands-on mechanical design of complex products.
• Drive design for manufacturability and production readiness.
• Collaborate with systems, electronics, software and manufacturing teams.
• Solve complex mechanical engineering challenges and make key technical decisions.
• Help establish engineering standards, processes, and PLM/PDM systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
