Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience focused on product development.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of FEA is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing and evaluating mechanical components and systems.
• Performing analysis using finite element analysis software.
• Developing product specifications, drawings, assembly instructions and BOMs.
• Participating in design reviews with other engineers.
• Investigating existing designs to improve them.
• Creating prototypes for new products or processes.
• Troubleshooting production issues related to mechanical components or systems.
• Managing projects from concept through completion.
• Maintaining technical documentation including product drawings and specifications.
