Job summary

IH Selection is working with a leading Mission Critical Design consultancy to appoint a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer based in Abu Dhabi. You will lead the mechanical design for data center projects, including a 200MW expansion for a major operator over the next two years.

You will oversee development, coordination and delivery of designs, ensure resilience and energy efficiency, and manage a team of engineers while guiding client engagements across a portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in Data Center design.
• 5+ years design consulting experience.
• Strong client / stakeholder management skills.
• BSc Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• CDCP certified (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, coordination and delivery of mechanical designs for data center projects.
• Ensure resilience, energy efficiency, scalability and operational reliability.
• Lead an established team of mechanical design engineers and guide client engagements.
