Job summary

You will oversee design basis, calculations, reports, procurement support, and coordination with multiple disciplines to deliver safe, efficient electrical systems on major offshore and onshore facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Master’s degree preferred.
• 15-20 years of oil and gas experience with major contractors or consultants.
• Detailed knowledge of design techniques and the theory, content, and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable.
• Knowledgeable in project coordination and execution skills.
• Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society.
• Develop communication and presentation skills (e.g., write technical papers, participate in conferences and/or seminars, present design solutions, and/or present topics at

Responsibilities

• Lead the Discipline engineering design of the assigned work area and manage budget and schedule.
• Direct and coordinate discipline team with Discipline Manager.
• Prepare bids and project budgets and execution plans, updating as required.
• Review and approve drawings, studies, and electrical equipment lists and data.
• Provide inputs for actual, planning, and forecasting progress reports including productivity.
