Job summary

Volantes Recruitment in Dubai is seeking a Principal Battery Systems & Qualification Engineer for a confidential advanced eVTOL programme. The role requires hands-on design, thermal analysis, safety qualification and extensive experience in battery systems for aerospace applications.

The candidate will contribute to cell selection, pack architecture and qualification testing in a safety-critical environment. This is an onsite, full-time opportunity based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' battery / energy storage engineering experience.
• Hands-on battery pack design at cell, module & pack level.
• Cell chemistry & format selection.
• Pack architecture, topology & usable-energy definition.

Volantes Recruitment are supporting a confidential advanced eVTOL engineering programme with the recruitment of a Principal Battery Systems & Qualification Engineer.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring significant depth across battery pack design, cell selection, thermal behaviour, safety and qualification.

Key Experience Required

• 10+ years' battery / energy storage engineering experience
• Hands-on battery pack design at cell, module & pack level
• Cell chemistry & format selection
• Pack architecture, topology & usable-energy definition
• Cell characterisation & battery modelling
• Thermal design & management
