Job description

The Pricing Professional reports to the Sales Operations Manager‑MEA. This is a regional role based in Dubai and also interacts with our entities in the Middle East and Africa.

The Pricing Analyst works closely with the sales team to ensure the successful delivery of Bridgestone MEA pricing objectives. The Pricing Analyst owns the price list, continuously monitors and reports on actual pricing structures and performance of the company versus budget YoY and MoM. The role also prepares accurate and relevant pricing analysis utilizing relevant tools, highlights price developments in the region, and communicates pricing challenges to relevant stakeholders. The role drives operational implementations related to pricing in MEA and is responsible for ensuring audit requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Price set‑up and price‑list management – support set‑up prices based on relevant positioning and market‑back approach of Bridgestone versus competition in line with the BS pricing strategy.
• Update prices in the system as per the internal pricing process.
• Support sales managers to make correct pricing of products.
• Check and validate forecast and budget pricing.
• Own and drive the price list.
• Manage stakeholders to ensure sharing of information.
• Build and communicate relevant pricing analysis reports mainly through MS Excel and PowerPoint dashboards.
• Improve transparency and communication on key sizes and key customers between all markets and local regional management by providing the right level of information.
• Pricing compliance and audit – communicate to ensure all processes are adhered to by all parties.
• Strive to develop improvements to current pricing processes, tools and systems.
