Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; master's preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Power Distribution or related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of IEC 61439, IEC 60947, IEC 62271, IEEE 519, and UPS standards.
  • Proven experience in consultant engagement, specification sales, or technical business development.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and energy management software is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, design institutes.
  • Position Schneider's solutions in project specifications.
  • Conduct technical presentations and workshops to promote Schneider's differentiated value.
  • Identify opportunities early in the project cycle and drive prescriptions to Schneider's advantage.
  • Ensure compliance and alignment with IEC standards, IEEE, and local utility regulations.
  • Support bid and tendering teams with specification insights and positioning strategies.
  • Promote Schneider's portfolio across LV, MV, UPS, and digital solutions.
  • Track competitor activity, market trends, and consultant preferences to support strategic positioning.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, tendering, and execution teams to ensure project success.
  • Share insights with global teams to align local strategies with Schneider's innovation roadmap.
  • Promote Schneider's sustainability and decarbonization agenda.

Job description

We are looking for Prescription Manager to be responsible for driving specifications and prescription for Schneider Electric's Portfolio: Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, Busways, UPS Systems, and Digital Solutions. You will partner with consultants, end-users, and influencers to ensure Schneider's technologies are positioned as the preferred choice across critical infrastructure, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and data centres.

Key Responsibilities
Consultant Engagement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, design institutes.
  • Position Schneider's solutions in project specifications.
  • Conduct technical presentations, workshops to promote Schneider's differentiated value.
Prescription & Project Influence
  • Identify opportunities early in the project cycle and drive prescriptions to Schneider's advantage.
  • Ensure compliance and alignment of solutions with IEC standards, IEEE, and local utility regulations.
  • Support bid and tendering teams with specification insights and positioning strategies.
Portfolio Promotion
  • Power Products: LV Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Busway.
  • Medium Voltage: Air-Insulated and SF6-Free Switchgear, Protection Relays, and MV digital services.
  • UPS & Secure Power: 3-phase UPS, modular UPS solutions, and integrated secure power offers for data centres and critical facilities.
  • Digital Solutions: Software for Power & Grid Platforms, Power Monitoring, Energy Efficiency Analytics, and Digital Twins.
Market Intelligence & Collaboration
  • Track competitor activity, market trends, and consultant preferences to support strategic positioning.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, tendering, and execution teams to ensure project success.
  • Share insights with global teams to align local strategies with Schneider's worldwide innovation roadmap.
Thought Leadership & Sustainability
  • Promote Schneider's sustainability and decarbonization agenda by demonstrating the role of LV, MV, UPS, and digital solutions in energy transition.
  • Champion the value of digitization, smart grid readiness, and power quality in consultant and end-user engagements.
Qualifications & Experience
